Prosperous northern Lima.

Book The Peruvian Chamber for the third consecutive year organized a book fair in North Lima. Why insist on bringing these cultural events to more than two million people?
For this sector, which accounts for a quarter of the total population of Lima, is not only one of the centers of economic development with higher growth in the city but is home to the population levels B and C which spends much of its budget for education ( Source: Rolando Arellano, 2009 ).
This attitude has led to the 41 thousand 650 economic units in North Lima, 33.8% are in the area of \u200b\u200bservices, most notably the field of education with universities, institutes, colleges and cultural centers. ( Source: Socioeconomic Monitoring Labor North Lima, 2008 ).
In North Lima located about seven universities: Seat of Wisdom Catholic University, Universidad Cayetano Heredia, Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, Universidad San Juan Bautista, César Vallejo University, University Sciences and Humanities, and the Universidad Privada del Norte, opened this year. And private institutions ICPNA, British, French Alliance, Cibertec, Cicex, Senati, among others.
In that sense, education is an advantage in North Lima over their peers in the south and east, possessing 26% of the total population of Lima to higher education, including technical training and university ( Source: James Joseph, researcher at the Alternative Center, 2006 ).
And the best is that, since the deployment of the First North Lima Book Fair to date have installed a dedicated local book sales. Possibly, after evaluating the average of a million soles in commercial transactions obtained during the previous edition.

Sample Latter Of Disconnection

... Who the hell is Rius?.

E s well known that Mexico has three ministries responsible for public education: The Ministry of Education, Televisa and Rius.

is not a bird. Not a bird nor a plane. Rius, not split personality, to my knowledge.

is a freak, yes. A dinosaur. A survivor of the Renaissance. An encyclopedic. A humanist. A philosopher Wow.

Rius, is a diligent researcher and popularizer of the most critical issues, and soon spread through the media of most concern to man in the street.

It is also an omnivore of human knowledge. Since everything that eats, digests it in cartoons.

Rius, is the devil. A devil of the pen. Where to put the eye drops caricature. It is, after José Guadalupe Posadas and next to the "cat" Cuevas, the biggest and best artist in Mexico.

Rius, is the pseudonym Eduardo del Rio Garcia, born June 20 de1934, Zamora, Michoacán. Writer and cartoonist, self-taught, beginning in the journal "lol" in the mid 50's. He is the author of several classics of the American cartoon: The Supermachos and The Agachados , published in separate journals of the late 60's.

His work has appeared in major newspapers and magazines left and right, Mexican: El Universal, Press, Ovations, La Jornada, Proceso, Always, Events, Politics, etc. It is, likewise, creator and director of magazines and white political humor: The chicken , the Chahuistle , Mark devil, the Chamuco .

is the creator of a new genus in the world of comics: the "comic book." It is also the author of countless books: 150! in total. On the most incredible little or never have been treated in the mass media. And, for what it has become worthy of two separate international Distinctions: Trophy Unicef, Hall of Lucca (1976). National Journalism Prize, Mexico (1987).

Some of his books.

His books are strictly informal, the product of arduous research. He holds a simple and direct language that serves to bring the readers through the intricate paths of knowledge. Always adorned with abundant cartoons themselves or others. Which, used without any qualms, intervened on his given taste.

Stamps for sane, the first book on the subject published in Mexico. He has received two books on economics. One of philosophy. Also, the product of his irreverence, has several books on religious themes: One, on the Bible. Three, on Jesus Christ. And Mashed Potatoes , dealing with the Vatican. It is a devil! that Rius.

"I have a book on the Virgin of Guadalupe, which is a crime," he says. Also, a book on global warming: The little lipsis that comes .

To make matters worse. It is also a harsh critic of the political system in Mexico and the rest of the world. This product are: His Majesty the PRI , From cristeros to Fox and others. Critical imperialism True Story of Uncle Sam , The endless conquest of Mexico , etc.

staunch critic of consumerism and drugs: Drugs which cooling. And, of course, religion: Guide to the Perfect atheist, Myth Guadalupe and many more.

All of which shows that Rius is a very dangerous man. Why? Because he knows too much. Furthermore, we assume that likes big. Because, do not fuck with little girls.

Rius, in his own sauce.

"I needed to read a lot to make a comic. It was the first comic that has had a bibliography. And besides, whom I did not copy it ... I never knew of the existence of a political or comic a strip. I never saw one and then there were many followers of that style. But in my time, there was nothing ".

" Yo, when I do a book I am learning a lot. People think I'm an encyclopedia with legs, because I have books on all subjects imaginable ".

" There are two generations of cartoonists were my fault. And there is something I am very happy, is that these cartoonists and are much more prepared than me. Because it is people who have gone through college. Reading. They are cults. "

" There is no way to teach someone the humor, and no school of poetry. That 's inspiration for the artist ... "

The Supermarket of sects.

is his most recent book. With the entertaining style that characterizes it, presents the concepts necessary to understand the nature of these associations. To then take a tour of some of the most important sects.

which is by nature religious and pseudo religious. Emerge as movements of opposition to existing institutions, but more radical in certain rituals and beliefs.

Thus Christianity originated as a sect that deviates from the traditional Judaism of the time. The New Age, is a movement that gives rise to a large number of sects in the sixties. Among them: the Hare Krishna, Jehovah's Witnesses, the Church of Scientology, Rosicrucians, Pentecostals and many others.

reference, U.S. only There are about 2,000 registered sects.

Something to smile. Did the existence of the sect Pelvis Presley, who worships Elvis as a saint and even draws comparisons between his life and Jesus?

This high-flying bird, currently directs and assists in the socio-political magazine, The Chamuca and the children of the underworld. " And in "The path of peje" along with other prominent artists.
God made the world
Rius and turned it into a caricature. They warned: Beware with Rius!

not lose sight!

How Do You Tell When You Need A New Track Spike

Speaking to the wall.

A CNN reporter heard about a little old Jew, who had been going to pray at the Wall the Wailing long, every day, twice a day ...
She watched as he prayed. After 45 minutes and when the old man was about to leave, she approached for an interview ..

- Excuse me, sir. I'm Rebecca Smith, a reporter for CNN. What is your name?
- Moshe Cohen, said man.
- How long have you been, sir, the Western Wall?
- For nearly 60 years.
- 60 years! It's amazing! And by whom or why pray?
- pray for peace among Christians, Jews and Muslims. I pray that end all wars and hatred between people. I pray that children grow up as responsible adults, loving their fellow men.
- How do you feel after 60 years?.
- As if he had been talking to a wall!
